An established business may need to replace equipment, improve premises or cover a defined operating gap. Describe the expense using current trading records and a clear payment timetable.

Set out the request
Use your operating records to answer the revenue and business-history questions as accurately as possible.
Consider the fit for your business
Verify the provider’s identity and the nature of the offered contract.
Check payment amounts, frequency and the complete repayment period.
Review collateral, guarantees and the consequences of paying early or late.
Uses to discuss
A premises or process improvement should have a defined scope and budget. Separate quoted work from optional additions that have not yet been priced.
Replacement machinery may need installation and a period of overlap with the old setup. Include those changeover costs in the request.
Supplier payments, payroll and other commitments may fall before customer receipts. Identify the specific obligations rather than treating the whole operating budget as one gap.

Established small businesses · funding preparation
Use the business’s trading history to put the proposed purchase in context. Past performance helps explain the operation, while future receipts and provider decisions remain uncertain.

Know how referrals work
Your request can be referred to a maximum of five funding partners through the sale of your application information. Partners compensate us even when financing is not provided, and we do not ask you to pay an application fee.
Completing the application is separate from receiving a funding decision. Providers determine which requests they can consider and what obligations an offer would carry.
There is no fixed funding time offered through this referral page. The provider’s checks and contractual requirements control when any financing can proceed.
Use the linked policies to understand the referral and handling of application information. The form separately explains partner communications and requires mobile verification.
